Dubai a inaugurat cea mai mare și mai înaltă roată panoramică din lume. Este un nou atu pentru orașul care încearcă să-și consolideze statutul de centru turistic. Roata a fost deschisă publicului cu un spectacol de drone, lumini și artificii.
„Dubai Eye”, sau „Ain Dubai” în arabă, are 250 de metri înălțime și poate plimba 1.750 de vizitatori într-o singură rotație, scrie Digi24.

Altă atracție deschisă recent este un muzeu al statuilor de ceară Madame Tussauds. Muzeul de ceară găzduieşte peste 60 de replici din ceară în mărime naturală ale unor staruri precum Rihanna şi fotbalistul argentinian Lionel Messi, de şase ori câştigător al Balonului de Aur.
Aproximativ 15 statui din ceară reprezintă vedete din Orientul Mijlociu, precum cântăreţele pop libaneze Nancy Ajram şi Maya Diab.
Sărac în petrol, Dubai, unul dintre cei şapte membri ai federaţiei Emiratelor Arabe Unite, şi-a diversificat economia, mizând mai ales pe turism şi pe industria divertismentului.
